We would like to invite you to the our first Northern Torch Lacrosse camp for the 2022 season taking place May 27 – 29th at the Shallow Lake Arena just outside of Owen Sound. This camp is tailored towards all skill levels both boys and girls who want to improve their game while learning from current and former pros such as Alex Pace (Philadelphia Wings), Jake McNabb (Colorado Mammoth) Adam Jones (Toronto Rock) and Ethan Woods (Albany Firewolves).
The camp will begin Friday May 27th with our U11’s at 5:00pm. This practice will be 1 hour and will consist of our new high tempo flow drills and stick skills to get started. Saturday will be a 2 hour session starting with group U8’s at 9:30am which will be high tempo for the first hour, followed by game-like situation drills such as 2v2, 4v4, fast breaks, battle drills etc. Sunday will be another 2 hour session starting with Our U8s at 9:30am where the first 30 minutes the kids will be put through our standard pre-game NLL warmup with the final hour and 30 minutes being a scrimmage. During this time the skills and knowledge gained from the previous sessions will be implemented, while allowing the kids to engage in some friendly competition. Some other features our camp will include is a Signature Lacrosse giveaway (shaft or head) to the hardest worker of each age group, awarded at the end of the camp. Along with a hardest shot competition at the end of Saturday’s practice for some Northern Torch Lacrosse merch!

Currently the age groups we have determined and the full schedule are as follows:

U16 – 16 and under – May 27th 7:00pm-8:00pm, 28th 3:00pm-5:00pm & 29th 3:00pm-5:00pm
U13 – 13 and under – May 27th 6:00pm-7:00pm, 28th 1:00pm-3:00pm & 29th 1:00pm-3:00pm
U11 – 11 and under – May 27th 5:00pm-6:00pm, 28th 10:30am-12:30pm & 29th 10:30am-12:30pm
U8 – 8 and under – May 28th 9:30am-10:30am & 29th 9:30am-10:30am

Although, we want this camp to be accessible to any interested lacrosse players so if you do not fall in these age groups and still want to participate send us an email and we will make it work!

The cost of the camp is $100 and $50 for our U8 group and it will include a Northern Torch Lacrosse pinnie. If you are interested please go to Northern Torch Lacrosse and click registration and follow the steps!
